Is Jupiter 8 a good lens?
The lens does feel cheap in construction but it has lasted this long so I assume to will last me many more years to come. At this price, the Jupiter 8 is a bargain of massive proportions. A fun lens to have around and mess with when you want a classic creamy look.
What mount is Jupiter 8?
It was made in Contax and M39 mounts, both for rangefinder cameras. KMZ originally made the Jupiter-8 for Arsenal’s Kiev (a copy of the Contax); it later produced a version in M39 mount for its Zorki rangefinder camera series.
Which is the best Zorki camera?
The best looking one is IMO the Zorki 5 1st edition with the polished top and square RF window, but it’s not the most practical as it’s button loaded, my favourite is the 6, it feels solid, good quality, nice viewfinder, small, easy to load, some people complains about the double stroke advance level but I like it.
Is Zorki a good camera?
The Zorki has a great range of shutter speeds, especially for its costs. With shutter speeds ranging from one second all the way to 1/1000 of a second, you have the freedom to play around with most major film stocks, without having to deviate too far from the Sunny 16 rule.
