Does TVHM reset side quests?

As i understand it, side missions in TVHM do not reset from Normal Mode. What happens to mini-bosses & bosses that only spawn after their quests are done (like Laney & Old Slappy)? Do they automatically spawn in TVHM if you completed their side mission in Normal Mode?
