Is the Stockton Tip open?
The Household Waste and Recycling Centre at Haverton Hill is now open to Stockton-on-Tees residents for the disposal of household waste and recyclable materials including garden waste, but you must book an appointment to use it. We have increased capacity and you can now book for the same day if slots are available.
How do I book a slot at raynesway tip?
To book, residents should visit the MiPermit website. You will need to register for the service before you can book a slot. Registration and booking are a simple process and we have put together a short video that takes you through the process. Those who are unable to book online can call 0333 2006981.
Do you have to book for Cuxton tip?
If you would like to visit a site with a small van, van bookings are only available at Capstone HWRC on Wednesday and Saturdays. Van bookings are not accepted at Cuxton and Hoath Way. Kent residents who need to visit a site with a van, must book a visit to a household waste and recycling centre in Kent.
Who can use Cuxton tip?
You can use a privately-owned car, which is defined as a passenger carrying vehicle under 2 metres in height with 9 seats or less, to take household waste to our recycling centre. Vans are not permitted. You can book to take a small, privately-owned van to Capstone recycling centre.

All visits to Raynesway HWRC must be pre-booked. Without a booking you will be turned away. Booking a visit to Raynesway HWRC is only available to residents who live in Derby or Derbyshire. The reasons for these changes are outlined in the changes to Raynesway HWRC news article.
