How do you tell time from a quarter past?
Quarter past means that 15 minutes have passed since the last hour. There are 60 minutes in a whole hour and so, one-quarter of an hour is 15 minutes. For example, if the time is âquarter past oneâ, then the time is 1:15 or 15 minutes past one.
