How do I make suet dumplings?
Instructions
- Load. Add your shredded suet mix into a bowl and load in your other ingredients.
- Mix. Using your hands, thoroughly mix your ingredients and then add a little water at a time until you have a mixture like dough consistency.
- Balls. Flour a clean worktop.
- Cook. Air fry for 10 minutes at 160c/320f.
- Finish.
Why are my suet dumplings not fluffy?
Don’t over mix your dough – Overworking the dough can result in tough dumplings. Always be sure to use cold water when forming the suet dumpling dough, warm water will make them sticky and difficult to roll into balls.
