Can you change accommodation at Uni Manchester?
Transferring rooms within or between halls. Students wishing to transfer to a different room must submit a transfer request. Completion of a transfer form does not guarantee that a transfer will take place. An inspection will be carried out to ensure that the room you are moving from has not been subject to any damage.

Many universities guarantee a place in halls for full-time first-year students and international postgraduates, as long as you meet application deadlines. However, this will vary between institutions – for example, you may be ineligible if you’ve come through Clearing.
Does Manchester Uni allow pets?
The accommodation contract allows for Residential Services staff or our agents to enter student rooms but only when there is a valid reason to do so. Animals: Animals are not permitted in Residence other than Assistance Dogs when pre-arranged with the Accommodation Office.
What does University accommodation provide?
Uni accommodation tends to include: a fully furnished bedroom, a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Each student flat usually contains around 6 to 8 bedrooms, so you’ll be sharing the kitchen and bathroom facilities with about 5 to 7 other students.
