Can civilians go to Quantico?
All short term visitors must visit the Visitor Control Center (VCC) and obtain a visitor pass for entry at the gates. Law Enforcement personnel with appropriate credentials do not need to register but, must have a valid purpose for entry.
Does MCX take NEX coupons?
NEX will also accept scratch off-coupons, percent and cents-off coupons from the Army Air Force Exchange System (AAFES), the Marine Corps Exchange System (MCX) and the Coast Guard Exchange System (CGX). These can be percent and cents-off in-store coupons, coupons presented in a coupon book or printed from Facebook.
Can retired military buy uniforms?
According to Air Force Instruction 36-2903, retirees may wear the uniform as prescribed at date of retirement, or any of the uniforms authorized for active-duty personnel, including the dress uniforms. Retirees must not mix uniform items. It can be purchased at any AAFES Military Clothing Sales store.
How much does a Marines uniform cost?
For new enlisted personnel, the military services provide uniforms (worth from $1,600-$2,400) and then annual replacement allowances. Enlisted personnel may have out-of-pocket costs, too. For example, the Air Force and Marines pay for an all-weather coat.
Can retired Marines wear cammies?
Retirees may wear the appropriate uniform or civilian clothing when traveling as passengers aboard MSC ships and AMC aircraft. No school or other unauthorized insignia may be worn on the Marine Corps uniform.
