The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) test is China’s only official test of Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we now only offer online PC-based testing that you will take at home.

Does HSK 3 have pinyin?

Does HSK 2 have pinyin?
In HSK 2, Pinyin (Mandarin romanization) is still provided along with Chinese characters for all questions on the test paper (or screen), and there is no writing section, meaning you don’t really need to know any characters to pass the test (of course you’ll need to be totally comfortable reading Pinyin).
