Why is Rob Zombie Halloween bad?
Fans hate this movie because they claim it doesn’t emulate the themes of Carpenter’s films, and they’re right. It builds on the lore, introducing new themes and characters to the Halloween franchise and creating something new while still remaining faithful to the original.

What is the point of Halloween 2007?
The idea behind the new film was to delve deeper into Michael’s backstory and add “new life” to the character. Michael’s mask would be given its own story to provide an explanation as to why he wears it, instead of having the character simply steal a random mask from a hardware store as in the original film.
Why did Daeg Faerch leave Halloween?
Faerch had grown taller in the two years since Halloween’s release, and Zombie felt he no longer fit the look that he wanted for young Michael. While Faerch certainly wouldn’t have saved the unfortunate sequel, his presence would have given more continuity to the movie and would have improved the overall finish.
