Where do I take the Goethe exam?
In the US, our examinations are offered at five Goethe-Institut branch offices ― Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC — and at more than 50 examination centers accredited to conduct the examinations on behalf of the Goethe-Institut across the country.
How do I check my German exam results?
Checking your Exam Results Online
- Candidate number: the 10-digit candidate number that you can find on your exam enrolment document (e.g. 006xxxxxxx)
- Date of birth in the format dd. mm. yyyy (e.g. 25.02. 1993)
- Click “Ergebnis”
How long does it take for Goethe exam results?
around 10-15 days
Exam results are displayed on Goethe’s website in around 10-15 days if taken through Goethe Institute or if opted for Licensed Examiners, then within 10 days of the exam.
Is TELC or Goethe better?
To make it short: there are no significant differences. The testing formats are very similar, and both – Goethe and “telc” – are recognized certificates. Just take the exam that suits you better in terms of time and price (telc exams tend to be cheaper than Goethe exams).
