The recommended size of a Quilt of Valor is 60″ x 80″; it must be a minimum of 55″ x 65″ and maximum of 72″ x 90. The Quilt consists of a top, batting, and backing. It must be machine or hand quilted.

Quilts of Valour – Eligibility Criteria Canadian Armed Forces members, past or present, who are ill or injured as a result of their service to Canada, qualify for a Quilt of Valour.

Each Quilt of Valor cost $150-$200 for the tops alone, then you add the batting and backing. All funding raised for PA Stitchers of Valor will be used within our local community as we get no funding from the National Organization.

We will be inviting a number of distinguished and celebrity guests from the Ottawa area to sew pre-cut log cabin blocks at the booth; each guest will have a sewing coach to help with the block.
