What is Tall Ships Race?
The Tall Ships Races are races for sail training “tall ships” (sailing ships). The races are designed to encourage international friendship and training for young people in the art of sailing. Over one half of the crew of each ship participating in the races must consist of young people.

Which countries host the Tall Ships Races?
Klaipeda and Szczecin are both regular fixtures in the Tall Ships Races, having hosted a total of seven times between them. Tallin, Estonia, Mariehamn, Aland islands, and St Petersburg, Russia, have also hosted the fleet before and all five ports will look forward to welcoming them back again.
