What is an ungraded pass UWA?
❗ UNGRADED PASS/FAIL SYSTEM ❗ UWA has announced that for Semester 1 it will be moving to an opt-in ungraded pass/fail system for undergraduate coursework units. This means that if you pass your unit and receive your results, you can opt to either receive that grade for the unit, OR take it as an Ungraded Pass.
Can you leave exams early UWA?

The Census Date is normally the last day that you can withdraw from a unit without financial liability. For domestic students, if you withdraw by the Census Date of a unit and you have paid your tuition fees or student contribution, you will receive a full refund for the unit.

What happens if I fail a unit UWA?
If you have failed a unit you will need to adjust your study plan to complete your course. This may extend the time needed to complete your course or you may be able to make up the failed unit by taking a unit during the UWA Summer School or another non-standard teaching period.
What does ungraded pass mean?
For Administrative Grades, Grade Points are not applicable. A Final Grade of ‘Ungraded Pass’ will be awarded when a Student has demonstrated satisfactory levels of achievement across all objectives in a Course that is ungraded.

In Online LMS Teams Monitored Exams, you will still log into the LMS for your unit to access and complete your exam. Your Unit Coordinator or another UWA Exam Invigilator will monitor your exam set up and behaviour via the video link in MS Teams to ensure that you comply with the rules for your exam.
How do I withdraw from UWA?
Process to Withdraw Online:
- Log on to your studentConnect.
- Under the ‘COURSE DETAIL’ menu, select ‘Online Enrolment’
- Click ‘Begin online enrolment’
- Select ‘Units’ from the navigation icons on the right hand side.
- Click the ‘Discontinue’ option next to the unit/s you would like to withdraw from.
