What is an FTK deck?
A First Turn Kill (FTK) ( ＦＴＫ ファーストターンキル Fāsutotānkiru) is One Turn Kill achieved on the first turn. To date, FTK decks win in one of three ways: either Deck out, Life Points through Burn Damage, or Exodia. Thus, future FTK decks may utilize other victory conditions besides the current three.
What is exodia deck?
This deck focuses on using mass draw power to get through your Deck as quickly as possible in one turn. There is also another type of “Exodia” Deck, one that also focuses on Mega Draw but also thins the Deck.

How rare are otks in Yu-Gi-Oh?
OTKs are rare in Yu-Gi-Oh! media, especially prior to Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, but are not non-existent. In many cases, an OTK in the anime is shown either to show off the strength of a powerful Duelist, or for the winner to have a come-from-behind victory.
