Is Super Mario RPG worth playing?

It felt different for me as well when I played it for the first time. But in my opinion it is definitely a game to try out! I’d recommend it; while the combat can be a bit dated at times, it’s solid enough. The story is probably the best of any Mario RPG besides thousand year door, and none of the humor feels forced.
