How long does it take for a cauterized wart to heal?
Electrocautery usually leaves behind a wound which may take 1 to 6 weeks to heal. The time it takes the wound to heal depends on the size of the wart. Bigger warts take longer to heal.

- Keep the area clean and dry. Do not break the blister.
- When the blister breaks, wash the area daily with soap and water. Apply double antibiotic ointment such as Polysporin® and cover the area with a Band-Aid®.
