- Colour Change: Colourless to Blue.
- Fill tube with sample to the 10mL line.
- Add one Phosphate No 1 tablet, crush and mix to dissolve.
- Add one Phosphate No 2 tablet, crush and mix to dissolve.
- Stand for 10 minutes.
- Take Photometer reading.

The Palintest Tablet Count method provides an extremely easy means of analysis for an important range of water parameters. The tests are carried out simply by taking a measured volume of water and adding tablets one at a time until a prescribed colour change takes place.
