We hope to hold a public consultation on the standards during Summer 2020, but this is subject to COVID-19. This will be an opportunity for anyone to provide their comments on the Standards of proficiency.
Why do I have to sign a declaration of proficiency?
Every time you renew your registration, you will be asked to sign a declaration that you continue to meet the standards of proficiency that apply to your scope of practice. Your particular scope of practice may mean that you are unable to continue to demonstrate that you meet all of the standards that apply for the whole of your profession.
