How do you administer Remodulin?
Remodulin is administered subcutaneously by continuous infusion, via a subcutaneous catheter, using an infusion pump designed for subcutaneous drug delivery.
How long does Remodulin last?
Simple. Prefilled Remodulin cassettes help ensure you receive your intended dose of medication without the burden of mixing and are delivered to you by your Specialty Pharmacy. What happens if you stop Remodulin?
You should not reduce your dose or stop using Remodulin suddenly. Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse. To make sure there is no interruption in your treatment, you may need to have a back-up infusion pump, replacement batteries, and extra infusion sets.
How do you titrate Remodulin?
Titrate up in 1.25 ng/kg/min increments per week to achieve a dose that improves PAH symptoms while minimizing excessive pharmacologic effects of Remodulin (ie, headache, nausea, emesis, restlessness, anxiety, and infusion site pain or reaction). Titrate slowly in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency.
Does Remodulin lower blood pressure?
