Can you walk up Whistler?
You can also access Whistler Mountain for free by hiking the long Singing Pass trail and then across the Musical Bumps Trail to the peak of Whistler Mountain. From the lodge you can start hiking in a few directions or take the short walk down to the Peak Chair and ride up to the summit of Whistler Mountain.

How do I get to Black Tusk?
Start your hike from the wooden steps in the upper section of the Rubble Creek parking lot. The dirt trail climbs steadily for the first 6km until you reach a junction. Going right takes you to Garibaldi Lake, so take the trail to the left to head up towards Taylor Meadows and eventually on to Black Tusk.

How long is Garibaldi hike?
The Garibaldi Lake Hike The hike to Garibaldi Lake is an 18km (return) intermediate-expert hike that is accessible in the summer months of July – September. Elevation gain on this hike is 820m and according to vancouvertrails.com should take around 5 hours (add on extra time for sightseeing and rest stops).
Is the Whistler gondola worth it?
We rode the Peak2Peak gondola in the summer. Was definitely worth the money! Park in one of the pay parking lots (we drove to Lot #1, it is closest to Whistler Village where the Peak2Peak attraction begins.
