Are R1 concept rotors good?
First – The rotors are great! I’d like to give all 5 stars but these pads cannot be ceramic. To compare at the same time I put high quality ceramic pads on the rear with locally purchased regular style rotors and no dust at all. I have used the drilled and slotted rotors on my Expedition before and really love them.

Are Eline brakes any good?
Brakes work very well. All parts were included and fit as expected. Still they feel a little like they grind, but no dust or major wear in 4k mi. of use.
Whats better slotted or drilled rotors?
Given the choice between drill holes and slots, the drill holes will give you better braking power over slots for normal city/highway driving. This is why high end BMW, Porsche, Corvette, and Mercedes rotors are drilled, not slotted. However, for track racing (high speed stops), slotted rotors are the better choice.
Are drilled brake rotors better?
If you live in an area that experiences a lot of rain, drilled rotors are a very good choice. They perform well in rainy climates by offering a good “wet bite,” hold up well over the life of the rotors, and deliver more friction and more bite than their slotted counterparts.
